14° 鳩尾榫銑刀 直徑3/4″ – Whiteside D14-75 (AstraHP塗層)

The AstraHP coating really held up on a full afternoon of drawer boxes in red oak—no burn marks on the cut edges, and the 14° angle seated the tails tight. I’ve used cheaper bits that chattered on the final pass, but this one left a surface so smooth I barely needed to sand the joint faces.

Smooth cuts in walnut right out of the box, and the Astra coating really seems to reduce burning on deeper passes. The 3/4" diameter leaves a nice, clean shoulder for precise joinery.

I was nervous about tear-out on my maple drawer fronts, but this bit leaves a clean, crisp cut right out of the box. The AstraHP coating is definitely doing its job—no burning even on the last pass of a long session. These joints fit together like they're supposed to.
