.016 Ball End Mill – 2 Flute

The 1/64 ball tip leaves a really clean radius on the walnut trim pieces I've been milling. Hit the 1/8 shank in my trim router and it spun true with zero chatter. Two flutes clear chips well enough that I'm not stopping to blow out the cut every pass.

Grabbed this to cut small radius details in walnut and the 1/64 ball tip leaves a smooth finish with barely any sanding needed. Two flutes clear chips fine at a slow feed, and the solid carbide hasn't dulled after a few hours of carving.

That 1/8 inch shank fits my router collet perfectly, so I didn't need an adapter. The rounded tip leaves clean curves on walnut with almost no sanding afterward.
