.075 Ball End Mill – 2 Flute

The 2-flute design clears chips way better than the 4-flute bits I used before, so I'm not stopping to blow out the cut every few passes. The .075 radius gives me nice smooth curves on walnut without any burning. Ran it through a few hours of work and it's still cutting clean.

Cut a set of rounded slots in aluminum plate and the ball nose left almost no cleanup work. Two flutes cleared chips fine at moderate feed, and the 1/8 shank dropped straight into my standard collet. Runout was tight right out of the tube.

The .075 radius is perfect for the small radius grooves I cut in walnut, and the 2-flute design clears chips way better than the 4-flute bits I used before. Solid carbide holds an edge after a dozen or so passes in hard maple, which I honestly wasn't expecting at this price.
