.050 Ball End Mill – 2 Flute

I was worried the tiny .050 tip would snap on my first pass, but it cut clean curves through the whole job without a single chip. The 1/8 shank fits my router collet perfectly, and two flutes clear chips way better than the single flute I used before.

The .050 tip is perfect for the fine 3D relief work I do on hardwood, and the 1/8 shank fits my trim router without any adapter. Two flutes clear chips well enough that I'm not stopping to blow out the cut every few passes. Held an edge through a full afternoon of carving without any burn marks.

I had to carve a 45-degree curved channel into some hardened steel and this little .050 tip handled it without chattering or deflecting, even at the full 1-1/2" stickout. The solid carbide keeps its edge far longer than the HSS bits I was burning through before, so this one's already paid for itself
