.079 Square End Mill – 2 Flute

Cut a batch of 5/64" slots in aluminum plate and the two flutes cleared chips way better than the cheap bits I'd been burning through. The 1-1/2" length gives enough reach without much chatter if you keep the passes light.

The 1/8" shank dropped right into my trim router collet with no shims needed. I've been running it through aluminum plate for weeks and the 2-flute geometry clears chips way better than the 4-flute bits I used before. Edge is still sharp.

Picked this up for cutting small pockets in aluminum and the .079 tip is perfect for getting into tight corners without chatter. The 1/8 shank fits my router collet fine and the two flutes clear chips well on light passes.
