That extra long flute actually reaches the bottom of my deep pockets without the shank rubbing, which was the whole reason I bought it. The .050 ball tip leaves a smooth radius on my curved slots. Two passes and I had a clean floor on a piece I'd been fighting for weeks.

Been using this for contouring deep pockets in aluminum and the extra flute length gets me down where my stub mills couldn't reach. Solid carbide holds an edge way better than the HSS ones I used to run. The 1/8 shank fits my standard collets, no adapter needed.

That .450 cut length actually lets me reach the bottom of a 2" deep pocket without chatter, which my shorter bits could never do. Solid carbide holds an edge well too, still cutting clean after a few hours on aluminum.
