1.6mm Metric Square End Mill

Perfect for tiny slots and PCB work—the 1.6mm flat end leaves a clean, sharp edge without chattering. I've been using it on aluminum and it holds up well even at higher feed rates. Cuts right through without needing a second pass.

This little 1.6mm bit made quick work of some tight slots in 6061 aluminum with zero chatter, and the square edges came out crisp and clean. The micrograin carbide held up beautifully through a full afternoon of milling without any measurable wear.

Used it for some 0.5mm deep pockets in aluminum and it left a clean, square floor. Only wish the cutting edge was a tad longer for deeper passes, but for fine detail work it’s been solid.
