1.3mm Metric Square End Mill

The two-flute design clears chips perfectly when I’m cutting narrow slots in aluminum. For such a tiny 1.3mm end mill, it feels surprisingly rigid and leaves a clean finish without chatter.

Finally got around to using this 1.3mm square end mill for some tiny pockets and the micrograin carbide held up perfectly through a few passes in aluminum. Exactly what I needed for precise flat-bottomed slots.

The 1.3mm square end cuts very cleanly in brass, and the flat bottom leaves a surface that needs almost no cleanup. I've used it for several small slots so far without any visible wear on the flutes.
