I built an octagonal planter this weekend and this bit made the birdsmouth joints effortless. The cut is clean and consistent, saving me a ton of setup time.

Used this to cut the eight notches on a hexagon planter I'm building and the fit was dead on right out of the box. The notch cuts clean enough that I barely had to sand the joints before glue-up.

First time cutting birdsmouth joints and the notch lined up dead on for all eight staves. The bit is beefy and stayed sharp through a full cedar barrel project. No gap-filling needed on the glue-up.
