I’ve been using this bit for decorative veining on some furniture projects, and the AstraHP coating really does reduce heat buildup during long cuts. The round bottom leaves a clean, smooth finish that needs almost no sanding.

Cut a set of cabinet door panels with this and the round bottom profile came out glassy smooth, no sanding needed on the curves. The 1/4" shank seated tight in my router with zero chatter, and the coating seems to be holding up fine after a dozen passes through oak.
