1-1/4″ 榫孔銑刀 x 1/4″ 柄徑 – Whiteside 1303 (AstraHP 塗層)

First time using a coated bit and it really made a difference clearing chips from the mortise. The down shear flute left a clean edge on the top, and the cut felt smooth from start to finish through several test pieces.

I’ve been cutting a bunch of cabinet door mortises with this bit, and the down shear flute keeps the top edge clean enough that I skip most sanding. The 1/4″ shank held up fine in my plunge router without any wobble, even on deeper passes.

That short down shear flute makes all the difference—the top edge of my mortises came out clean with zero tear-out on the oak. I've cut about a dozen joints so far and the AstraHP coating is still slick, no burning.
