Been running 1/8-inch bits with this reducer for weeks now, and the fit is snug with zero wobble—even at high router speeds. It's a simple fix that saved me from buying a separate collet.

Finally a way to use my 1/8-inch bits without buying a whole new router. The reducer slides into the 1/2-inch collet cleanly and holds the small shank snug on the first try—no wobble during a test pass.
