1.4mm Metric Square End Mill

Wish it came with a collet, but that's on me—the 2-flute design clears chips beautifully in tight pockets, and the micrograin carbide held up through a dozen aluminum passes without a hint of deflection.

The 1.4mm width is exactly what I needed for PCB work, and the Micrograin Carbide held up surprisingly well in the brass. No chipping after several passes, and the square bottom is crisp.

Cut some clean square slots in aluminum with the two-flute micrograin carbide, and the 1.4mm tip held up without any deflection even at a decent feed rate. For such a tiny end mill, the finish on the pocket walls was surprisingly smooth. Exactly what I needed for a small PCB enclosure milling job.
