I was a little nervous about tear-out on poplar, but this bit leaves a glass-smooth surface on both sides of the joint. The interlocking fit is incredibly tight, and the glue-up was almost seamless.

Finally a bit that cuts clean 45s without tear-out, and the depth stop made dialing in the glue joint a breeze on my cabinet door project.

The interlocking joint it creates is so tight that after glue-up I couldn't find the seam even before sanding. I ran it on some poplar and oak, and the 45-degree lock held perfectly with zero tear-out. It's become my go-to for any cabinet face frame that needs a flawless corner.
