1/8インチ ラウンドオーバー ルータービット x 1/2インチ シャンク – Whiteside 2005C (AstraHPコーティング)

Put this bit in my router and immediately noticed how smoothly it cut through some hard maple—no burning or chatter at all. The AstraHP coating really seems to help it glide without gumming up, and the 1/2-inch shank gave me a lot more control than my old 1/4-inch bits.

I was worried the coating might just be a gimmick, but this AstraHP finish really does seem to reduce burning on tricky hardwood edges. The bit also cut smoothly without any chatter, even on a long piece of oak.

The 1/2-inch shank feels rock-solid in my router table, and the 1/8-inch roundover it cuts is buttery smooth on every pass. I’ve run it through a dozen oak boards so far and the AstraHP coating still looks brand new.
