0.8mm Metric Ball End Mill

Cutting some tight 3D curves in brass, this little ball end mill handled it without any chatter. The micrograin carbide seems to hold its edge well, and the 0.8mm tip got into places my larger bits couldn't reach.

Used these for some fine 3D contouring in aluminum and the two-flute design cleared chips nicely even at low feed rates. The cut left a surprisingly smooth finish on the radius, no chatter like I've had with cheaper tiny bits.

I was worried 0.8mm would be too fragile, but the micrograin carbide holds up beautifully even on harder metals. Cut through a steel die with no chipping at all.
