0.6mm Metric Square End Mill

Running a finishing pass on some hard steel, these 0.6mm end mills cut cleanly without chattering. The micrograin carbide holds its edge longer than I expected for such a small bit.

I was nervous about breaking such a tiny tool, but the solid carbide held up beautifully while milling a clean slot in a brass fitting. The two-flute design cleared chips nicely, and the flat end left a sharp, square bottom. Exactly what I needed for precision work.

The 0.6mm tip cut through some aluminum I had with no chatter at all, which surprised me given how small it is. I had to use a magnifier just to see the flutes when I first opened the package.
