1.2mm Metric Square End Mill

The 1.2mm tip handled a tight slotting job in brass without any deflection, and the micrograin carbide held its edge through the whole run. Two flutes cleared chips well at higher spindle speeds, exactly what I needed for these small pockets.

Pared down some aluminum for a custom electronics enclosure and this little bit handled it effortlessly. The carbide edge stays sharp through multiple passes in my mini mill.

I was worried a 1.2mm bit this small would snap instantly, but the micrograin carbide held up fine cutting through aluminum at a slow feed. The two flutes cleared chips well enough that I didn't have to stop and poke at the slot.
